My Love Affair with Greg Natale

Q&A with Jess:

•   When and how did you meet Greg Natale?

We asked Greg to design our Woollahra kitchen as we saw another project he had just completed which we loved. This was 8 years ago now and he has definitely had an impact on my style choices during that time.

•    What projects have you worked on together?

Greg successfully redesigned our kitchen which saw an very French cream on cream kitchen turn to glamour. I have also worked with him on 2 commercial projects, where I supplied the bespoke furnishing to fit the space which he had so artfully designed.

•   Why is he so inspirational to you?

Greg’s style is very Bold, he has a great eye for mixing patterns and colours and effortlessly marrying them together . He has really pushed the boundaries in the Australian Interior design sphere and has made his mark with his signature look. He was the one who really introduced me to Hollywood Glamour, a style that matches my personality perfectly! This has inspired me to follow my passion and my own design cues, enabling me to broaden my design horizons and add more of my personality to the projects I work on.

•   If you could have one favourite GN style cue what would it be?

I really like a lot of his monochromatic interiors but in the same space his use of lush fabrics.

•   What are your thoughts on his homewares and in particular his range of cushions hitting your e-store?

I think Singaporeans really love luxury and glamour, Greg’s home wears will fit in really well here, there is nothing like it whatsoever, only high end brand names which sometimes do not offer the most tasteful home styling solutions. His cushions add a touch of pizazz and uniqueness to any space!
