How to style a CGI

One of the single most important considerations when marketing property are the images you present. Styling for real photos or CGI's is of paramount importance, it can make the difference between high levels of enquiry and a successful sales campaign or having your property sit on the market for an inordinate amount of time.

Recently I turned my styling skills to work for a developer to help improve the visual appeal of their CGI’s. By setting a clear style direction we were able to create a mood and tell a story which resonated directly with the intended target audience. Something must have worked as this project received record levels of enquiry for a project in 2017.

Check out some of the CGI’s I styled;

Kitchen:

The dark scheme took on a more moody bachelor style than the light scheme, which I kept more feminine and whimsical. The use of art, stools and ornaments on the counter assisted in changing the mood.

Living:

You cannot rely on a view alone to sell an apartment the interiors are of utmost importance and being able to transport yourself into that space and feel comfortable is key. I used clean yet luxuriant furniture pieces with decadent styling items to bring this room to life

Penthouse:

A space this decadent requires a lot of styling, everything from the orientation of the furniture, to the floor covering and the ornamental items as well as key breakaway spaces for the outdoors and the grand piano added the finishing touches
